Deputies: Inert grenade launched through south Fort Myers bedroom window
A south Fort Myers family had a scare Tuesday when a hand grenade was launched through a bedroom window. According to a Lee County Sheriff's Office report: Just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, Marlen Membreno, 37, and Moises Claros, 20, both of the 15000 block of Woodrich Bend Circle, told deputies they thought something in the bedroom fell and broke. When they went to investigate, they found the grenade.
