Chris Wortman and Max Lummis have joined Premier Properties

Chris Wortman and Max Lummis have joined Premier Properties of Southwest Florida, Inc. as Broker Associate and Sales Associate, respectively.

Wortman will be working from the company’s Vanderbilt Beach Office across from the Ritz-Carlton in North Naples; Lummis will work out of Premier’s office at the Promenade at Bonita Bay in Bonita Springs.

Wortman has been a Realtor since 2004 and earned a Broker’s license in 2006. A native of Newburg, Indiana, he has been a permanent resident in Florida for eight years. He focuses on marketing and selling waterfront residential properties. 

Before joining Premier, Wortman worked for South Bay Realty and Miromar Realty.

Preceding his career in real estate, he worked for Bristol Myers for twenty years in the nutritional and pharmaceutical departments.

Wortman is a member of the National Association of REALTORS (NAR), the Florida Association of REALTORS (FAR), and the Naples Area Board of REALTORS (NABOR). Gulfshore Life Magazine named him a five-star Real Estate Agent for 2008, 2009, and 2010.  In 2007, South Bay Realty awarded him the “Shining Star Award” as the agent with the most listings and sales in their firm. Wortman studied Business at the University of Evansville. He holds the designation of Master Certified Sales Professional (MCSP), awarded through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).   

Lummis has been active in real estate in Southwest Florida for the past seven years.

Before joining Premier, his business experience includes a partnership with the accounting firm of KPMG in St. Louis from 1973 to 1989 where he was in charge of the local mergers and acquisitions.  Lummis left KPMG and joined Koplar Communications as CFO and COO.  The company owns television stations in St. Louis and Sacramento, real estate in St. Louis, and produces and distributes original animation. 

During his tenure in St Louis, Lummis served on numerous social and charitable Boards, including the St. Louis Children’s Hospital.  He is a resident of Bonita Bay, where he serves on the Membership Committee of the Board of the Bonita Bay Club. He was also involved in the turnover of the Club from the Bonita Bay Group in Spring 2010.
