THE HIGH-RISES AT BONITA BAY: PERFECT FOR GOLFERS

Thursday, 05 February 2009

The Bonita Springs community has three Arthur Hills-designed courses within its 2,400 acres, and two Tom-Fazio courses provide a pure golf experience nearby. The High-Rises at Bonita Bay not only offer a bird’s-eye view of several fairways – as well as Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico – but also provide a low-maintenance lifestyle that frees time to spend on the links.

Travel + Leisure Golf has included Bonita Bay on its list of the top 100 golf communities in America for the past four years, and Links Magazine has named it one of America’s premier properties each year since 2006.
Nongolfers love Bonita Bay, too.

Bordered by water on three sides, Bonita Bay is a paradise for canoers, kayakers and anglers. The full-service marina, with storage for more than 400 boats, provides direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. A 12-mile network of biking and walking paths connects Bonita Bay’s three waterfront parks, and a shuttle carries residents to a Gulfside beach park, reserved exclusively for them.

Bonita Bay Club’s tennis program is directed by a United States Professional Tennis Association master professional and is headquartered in the 18-Har-Tru-court tennis and swim center. Next door is the 10,000-square-foot fitness center, with a full range of workout equipment, a variety of classes and even spa services.

The Lutgert Companies has pushed luxury living to a new level with The High-Rises at Bonita Bay, with spacious homes, opulent finishes and amenities that rival world-class resorts. Lagoon-style pools are surrounded by tropical landscaping, sunning decks and screened cabanas with wet bars and grills. Indoors, state-of-the-art fitness centers, clubrooms with bars and catering kitchens, card and billiard rooms and mini-theaters provide comfortable spaces for relaxing or entertaining, and designer-furnished suites accommodate overnight guests.

Those who appreciate value also love Bonita Bay. For a limited time, Bonita Bay Group, developer of the 25-year-old community, is underwriting club membership incentives for those purchasing new high-rise residences from The Lutgert Companies by March 15, 2009.

Homes are available for immediate occupancy in Esperia South at Bonita Bay, and model residences showcase the convenience and luxury of the high-rise lifestyle as well as breathtaking views of Estero Bay, Bonita Beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Residence 2502, for example, has a flexible floor plan with 2,730 square feet of indoor space that includes an open kitchen, a family room that adjoins a terrace and a third bedroom/den and bath. The master and guest suites are separated by the great room and dining room, but all four rooms share panoramic views of Estero Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. The residence is priced at $1.95 million, including interiors and furnishings by Antonacci Design Group.

On the 27th floor, Penthouse 202 has two bedrooms, three baths, a den, 2,310 square feet of indoor living space and a 108-square-foot screened terrace. The great room’s conversation area is bordered by a wall of glass that overlooks the water.

Several other furnished residences allow visitors to imagine themselves enjoying the high-rise lifestyle and expose the views from various floors of the 27-story building, which is bordered by a nature preserve and the ninth green of the Bay Island golf course. The high-rises are designed for maximum privacy and views, and spacious, varied floor plans offer flexible interiors.

The Lutgert Companies planned Esperia South to make life as carefree and convenient as possible. The lobby is staffed by a management assistant, and the manager in residence provides peace of mind for traveling residents. Four designer-furnished guest suites, each with a poolside terrace, are available for overnight visitors. The building has an electronic, controlled-access entry system, an automated car rinse and an innovative high-rise trash-sorting system that is accessed from each floor to electronically separate refuse and recyclables.

Residences have nine-and-one-half-foot-tall ceilings and eight-foot-tall sliding glass doors, and the penthouses have 10-and-one-half-foot-tall ceilings and nine-foot-tall sliding glass doors. All homes have structured wiring with high-speed voice/data/video cabling, impact-resistant, tinted glass windows with an energy-efficient Low-E coating, granite countertops and wood cabinet doors in the kitchens, and marble vanity tops in the master bath rooms.

Available residences in Esperia South range in size from 2,102 to 2,730 square feet of indoor living area, complemented by outdoor spaces on screened and open terraces. Prices begin at $660,000. Sales also are under way for Tavira at Bonita Bay, where construction is on schedule for a fall opening.

The Lutgert Companies has been creating new experiences in luxury living for more than 40 years, completing nearly two-dozen luxury high-rises in Southwest Florida, including five of the eight planned at Bonita Bay.
