Reason to go: A small Southern chain with 10 locations throughout Florida, The Grape recently opened at Coconut Point. Its plush furniture and ample outdoor seating offer a welcome oasis for tired shoppers after a day of retail therapy.

On the menu: Light gourmet fare such as salads, sandwiches and an enviable selection of cheeses. But the real focus is the 120 wines from around the world.

Their specialty: The Grape aims to demystify the wine experience and divides its wine list by style and taste with a simple numbering system. Affordability is a key factor, with prices ranging from $10 to $40 per bottle. Glasses range from $7 to $25. For those seeking a more adventurous experience, "Grapes by the Bunch" is a chance to order a small portion of three or more wines.

Bottles are also available in the restaurant's adjacent store.

Atmosphere: Wine bar and bistro

Price Range: $10 to $40 per bottle. $7 to $25 a glass

If you go: North of Dillard's at Coconut Point Mall, Estero, 239-992-5040
