A Collier County-based insurance watchdog group, Fighting Against Insurance Rates (FAIR), is to host Bob Molloy, a wind inspector in Collier County, next week.

The organization meets Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in the Naplea Area Board of Realtors office on Pine Ridge Road in Naples.

Molloy provides advice on what to do to provide better hurricane protection to property. He worked in Connecticut as a deputy sheriff for 10 years and moved to Florida in 1983. Here, Molloy began working in the construction industry, including commercial construction.

He got his state general contractor’s license in 1990. In 2003-04, he went to Iraq as an independent contractor with the U.S. military. When he returned to the U.S., he moved to Naples and began the wind inspection business.

He is a licensed catastrophe insurance adjuster.
