According to a release issued this afternoon, the grand jury is expected to meet on June 19 and begin reviewing the case. The 41-year-old Weston, who was mentally handicapped, was shot and killed by Fort Myers police in February. Police said they were acting in self-defense. Weston's aunt, Thelma House, said she was pleased her nephew's case will move to a grand jury, but she still has questions she'd like to pose to State Attorney Stephen Russell in a meeting. House declined to say what those questions were.
