Reason to go: The Coconut Point location is the only retail Apple store in Southwest Florida. Upon entrance of its silver exterior, the inside jumps alive with stations surrounding the store where customers can check out all the latest Apple products such as the iPod shuffle or MacBook.

Apple, the company behind iPods, opened its doors last weekend at Coconut Point.

— Free workshops on everything from getting started on a Mac to podcasting

— One-on-one personal training through ProCare for $99 annually

Products: A wide range of Apple and third-party products, including the iPod line, the complete Mac line featuring the iMac, Mac Pro, Mac mini, MacBook and MacBook Pro. Other Apple products include: iLife consumer software and Final Cut Studio professional software, iTunes Gift cards, the iPod Hi-Fi, Nike + iPod Sport Kit; AirPort Express, Apple Cinema Displays, Mighty Mouse and other products such as iPod speakers, cases and armbands.
