What: Birtolo will perform her newest one-woman historical drama, "Remember the Ladies," which tells the story of Abigail Adams, wife of the second U.S. President, John Adams, and mother of the sixth. Birtolo conducted research to craft a piece that brings the life of Abigail Adams as an American patriot, telling her story of duty and devotion. " A vital participant in the revolution and times that created the United States, Abigail influenced politics through her close, loving relationship with her husband, John Adam," Birtolo writes. When: Tonight only, Wednesday, March 21 at 7 p.m., approximately one-hour long, with question and answer session afterward. Where: South County Regional Library, 21100 Three Oaks Parkway, Estero. Cost: Free, but call ahead to 390-3200. Birtolo says: "It's a chance to get to know Abigail Adams. She was a very independent spirit, her husband called her saucy.
