Tune-Out Teen Cancer was originally scheduled for Oct. 20, but heavy rain forced organizers to reschedule the event. Some Barron Collier High School students organized the fundraiser, which will feature all-day music on two stages, face-painting and a raffle contest for a guitar. Bands, including Later Days, Rock Colossus and The Wedding Party, will grace the stage throughout the day. The Barron Collier Choir will also perform. Admission is $10. Money raised will benefit The American Cancer Society and The Gregory Weber Lang Foundation. The Lang Foundation, based in Naples, was created to fund cancer research and teen scholarships this year by Gregory Lang and his family. Gregory, 18, died of cancer in September. For more information, call King Richard’s at (239) 598-1666.
